Medical University of Bialystok (UMB) has concluded a bilateral agreement with the Faculty of Pharmacy and Biochemistry of the University of Zagreb. This is another bilateral agreement regarding joint conduct of doctoral dissertations concluded this year. In April 2019, the Medical University signed the agreement with another Croatian university – the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University in Osijek.

The bilateral agreement assumes conducting the joint doctoral dissertations in the field of medical and pharmaceutical sciences. The agreement is concluded for 5 years, with the option of its extension. Joint doctoral dissertations will be carried out in accordance with the Polish provisions.

The University of Zagreb was founded in 1699. It is the oldest Croatian university and at the same time the oldest university in Southeastern Europe.
