The rector of the Warsaw university Prof. Jan Szmidt and the rector-commander of the Polish Naval Academy, commander Prof. Tomasz Szubrycht signed a cooperation agreement.

The signed agreement is to contribute to “the development of scientific-didactic and scientific-research activities in areas particularly important for the defense of the country and maritime economy, using the potential, position, experience and achievements of both universities.”

As part of the cooperation, it is planned to create joint research teams, mutual provision of services in the field of access to laboratories and the use of technical equipment. Warsaw University of Technology and the Naval Academy will also exchange experts and jointly organize scientific and technical conferences and symposia.
