Constructing gas networks and biogas plants in rural areas, support for renewable energy and agricultural biogas production as a source of renewable energy are among the main projects of the National Center for Agricultural Support in the field of innovation.

– One of innovation strategies is power industry in rural areas. With Polska Spółka Gazownictwa, we want to construct many gas networks of island type. They could be supplied from biogas plants, developed in rural areas. Such a network may supply customers within a certain radius, where it is not profitable to build a classic gas pipeline – says Witold Strobel, General Director of the National Center for Agricultural Support.
