Prof. Jimmy Mazurkiewicz from Texas Agricultural and Mechanical University received an honorary doctorate from the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW).

Prof. Jimmy Mazurkiewicz is a naturalist, an expert in animal husbandry and breeding, economist, agricultural advisor, organizer of social and economic life. A descendant of Polish emigrants, he is a great advocate of the development of Polish-American relations and a promoter of Polish culture in the United States.

Prof. Jimmy Mazurkiewicz was awarded the honorary doctorate of WULS-SGGW by the Academic Senate at the request of the Agriculture and Horticulture Discipline Council for: “creative contribution to building friendly Polish-American relations; outstanding services in the implementation of innovative technologies in agriculture; many years of work for the organization of bilateral exchange of Polish and American farmers”.
