From November 20 to December 21, 2019, a multimedia exhibition will be available at the Kazimierzowski Palace of the University of Warsaw (UW) presenting archaeological works carried out in Machu Picchu by the Andean Research Center of the University of Warsaw in Cusco.

The exhibition entitled “Beyond visible. Remote sensing and laser scanning in Polish-Peruvian-Italian research in Machu Picchu” presents extensive archaeological work in Machu Picchu conducted by scientists from the Center of Andean Research of the University of Warsaw in Cusco. Archaeologists from the University of Warsaw have been conducting research in this area since 2008 as part of cooperation with the Peruvian National Archaeological Park Machu Picchu.

The exhibition guests will see three-dimensional holographic models of various buildings, including the Inca observatory in Mirador de Inkaraqay or the main buildings of Machu Picchu. The exhibition also includes films, documentary and archival materials, as well as the latest photos from the sites.
