IDEAS NCBR has signed a cooperation agreement with the Department of Computer, Control and Management Engineering Antonio Ruberti (DIAG) of La Sapienza University in Rome. DIAG is one of Italy’s leading departments in areas such as robotics, algorithmics, AI or computer vision.

DIAG is the fourth centre with which IDEAS NCBR has signed a so-called MoU (memorandum of understanding) this year. So far, the declaration of cooperation with the Warsaw R&D centre has been signed by: CVC in Barcelona, the Center for Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Robotics at National Taiwan University and the Centre Wiskunde & Informatica in Amsterdam.

The agreement with DIAG involves joint programmes for doctoral students, cooperation on research projects and exchanges for researchers, as well as joint applications for European grant applications.

Research projects will focus on the algorithmic foundations of Data Science and applications of algorithmic machine learning in industry, medicine and the digital economy.
