The call for entries for this year’s “Science for You” competition, which is organised by the Copernicus Science Centre in Warsaw and the Ministry of Education and Science, is open until 27 February 2023.
To take part in the competition, a team consisting of two teachers and 4-5 primary school students should be assembled and together they should create an idea for an educational aid that could be used in science lessons. A description of a maximum of 300 words should indicate what questions the aid will answer, what issue it will address, what it will feature and what it will do.
After the first stage, 12 teams will be selected and invited to workshops conducted by experts from the Copernicus Science Centre. They will then refine their ideas and record a video presenting the educational aid they have invented and constructed. The results of the competition will be announced on 26 May, while the final gala is scheduled for 19 June.
