The second meeting of the Areopag of Universities within the “University and War” debate series, whose main topic is Russia’s aggression against Ukraine with all its consequences for Poland and the world, will take place on 15 December 2022 at Jagiellonian University in Krakow. 

The Areopag of Universities is attended by representatives of the largest Polish universities: Warsaw University, Jagiellonian University and Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, as well as the initiator of the event, the Catholic University of Lublin. Guest speakers in the debate “Right to violence? Legal Aspects of War” will be attended by an expert from the University of Silesia.

The main idea of the Areopag of Universities, under the auspices of the Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools in Poland, is to conduct a public debate on contemporary challenges in the university space.
