The Faculty of Computer Science of the West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin has launched the GlobalLogic Automotive Lab, dedicated to the automotive issues.
Students will acquire knowledge and practical skills in the field of hardware and software for the automotive industry and embedded systems. GlobalLogic has equipped the laboratory with the necessary equipment. Each single workshop has an infrastructure that reflects processing the part of the on-board electronics of the vehicle and software functioning in modern cars.
Students will have the opportunity to learn programming electronic car systems with an example of implementation of various types of sensors (e.g. proximity sensors, temperature), and a simple multimedia system controlled by a simulated and real steering wheel. They will also learn in practice the protocols used for communication between various electronic components.
