Dr Sylwia Słowińska from the Faculty of Pedagogy, Psychology and Sociology of the University of Zielona Góra was honored by the Academic Andragogical Society with an award for an outstanding monograph in 2018.

After reading the reviews and the opinion of Prof. Józef Kargul, the head of the award chapter, the Main Board of the Andragogical Academic Society honored Dr Słowińska with the “Award for an outstanding monograph” in 2018 for “Sense of bottom- up cultural initiatives in the interpretation of their implementers”.

Dr Sylwia Słowińska is an adjunct at the Department of Animation of Culture and Andragogy, at the Institute of Pedagogy at the Faculty of Pedagogy, Psychology and Sociology of the Zielona Góra University. According to the regulation of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of December 12, 2016 regarding the awards of scientific category to scientific units and universities, the winner of the competition received 50 points in parametric evaluation for a scientific monograph considered an outstanding work.
