Composed of experts in customer protection of financial market entities representing various research centres in Poland, the Contest Committee decided on the outcome of the 6th Competition for the Financial Ombudsman Award.

In the category of the best doctoral thesis in customer protection in the financial market, the Contest Committee awarded the first degree prize to Mr Michał Synowiec (Jagiellonian University in Kraków) for his thesis Legal Characteristics of the Acquisition Payment Service and the Agreement Connecting the Settlement Agent with the Merchant.

In the category of the best master’s thesis, the Contest Committee awarded: the first degree prize to Mr Marcel Myśliński (University of Gdańsk) for the thesis Mandatory civil liability insurance for tax advisors.

In the category of the best bachelor thesis, the Contest Committee awarded the first degree prize to Mr Michał Maciorowski (Krakow University of Economics) for the thesis “Conditions for the functioning of private health insurance in Poland”.
