Three young scientists from the West Pomeranian University of Technology received the Prize of the Mayor of the City of Szczecin in a competition for master’s theses and diploma theses aimed at development of modern technologies and innovations.
The award for the best master’s thesis on modern technologies and innovations was granted to Paweł Grochocki for the work “Electric machine with magnetic barriers moved by hybrid engine”.
In the category of the best PhD dissertations focused on modern technologies Dr Eng. Kamila Stępny was awarded for “CNC manual programming system with the use of virtual reality technology”, and Dr. Eng. Dariusz Pulikowski for “Experimental and numerical tests of winding superconductor coils made of Rutherford type Nb₃Sn multi-conductor cable”.
The competitions have been held since 2008 and are addressed to young researchers and graduates of Szczecin’s universities.
