The University of Warsaw (UW) is launching an additional application process for the Konstanty Kalinowski Scholarship Program of the Government of the Republic of Poland, which is addressed to students expelled from Belarusian universities.
The decision of the university authorities is dictated by the current situation in Belarus and the expected increase in the number of repressed people.
Prof. Marcin Pałys, rector of the University of Warsaw emphasizes, that the main task of universities, including the University of Warsaw are primarily science and education. Therefore, in this area, the University will continue and extend the activities to support those students who have been harmed by the actions of the Belarusian authorities.
Applications process will start on August 31, 2020. Applications will be accepted continuously until reaching the limit of places. More information about the program, qualification rules, and formal requirements can be found on the website of the Eastern European Studies Center of the University of Warsaw: https://studium.uw.edu.pl/
