73 Master’s theses presented in 2020 participated in the 14th Competition for the Award of the President of the National Bank of Poland (NBP) for the best MA thesis in economic sciences.

The winner of the first prize in the amount of PLN 15,000 was Marcin Karol Bubicz for his work: “Consolidation of supervision within the National Bank of Poland in comparison to the European experiences”, presented at the Institute of Banking, the Warsaw School of Economics.

The winner of the second prize in the amount of PLN 10,000 was Damian Łój for his thesis: “Economic and legal aspects of the foreign exchange and PLN system”, presented at the Faculty of Law and Administration, the Jagiellonian University in Krakow.

The winner of the third prize in the amount of PLN 7,000 was Julia Walczak for her thesis: “Respecting the lower limit of interest rates for Poland”, presented in the Department of Quantitative Economics at the Warsaw School of Economics.
