The 15th Competition for the Prize of the President of the National Bank of Poland (NBP) for the best master’s thesis in economic sciences has been concluded.
The first prize of PLN 15,000 was awarded to Dawid Wojciech Lesznik for his thesis “Typology of Individual Investors in the Polish Stock Market” presented at the University of Economics in Katowice, under the academic supervision of Dr Grzegorz Maciejewski.
The Jury decided to award two equivalent second prizes of PLN 10,000 each to: Ewelina Kuźma for her thesis “Green banking and the financial efficiency of banks”, presented at the Warsaw School of Economics under the academic supervision of Dr Magdalena Kozińska, and Paulina Anna Obara for her thesis “Determinants of the quality of the credit portfolio of banks in Central and Eastern European countries” presented at the Kraków University of Economics, under the academic supervision of Dr Krzysztof Kil.
