The Confucian Class of Bialystok University of Technology in Bialystok is inviting participants to the second meeting in the program “Classy China”. The online event will take place on February 11, 2021 at 4:00 pm on the Ms Teams platform.

“Classy China” is a program of lectures and workshops dedicated to enthusiasts of culture and the Chinese language. The presentations are conducted by Chinese language teachers and invited guests.

The program of the second meeting will be devoted to the Chinese New Year. Chinese New Year, or Spring Festival, is the most important and solemn holiday in the traditional Chinese calendar.

Confucian class teachers Weiwei Lu and Meng Wang will talk about the history of the Rite of Spring and its traditions and beliefs. They will present the Chinese zodiac signs, discuss their meaning and the character traits connected with them.

-We will also celebrate Chinese New Year’s Eve online. At 5 p.m. we will connect online with China and during the broadcast of the New Year’s gala live we will count the last seconds to the Chinese New Year together – say the organizers.
