The Faculty of Electrical Engineering at Białystok University of Technology (PB) will launch a new course of study, Digitisation of Industry, at the start of the 2023/2024 academic year.
PB emphasises that this is a unique educational offer in line with the needs of companies in the era of the fourth industrial revolution, which will educate the next generation of engineers.
A well-educated engineer after the course Digitalisation of Industry will have the established knowledge and qualifications to be able to meet the needs of start-ups and modernised companies in terms of digitalisation using flexible manufacturing systems and, in particular, robots and cobots with a high degree of autonomy and the ability to co-operate with workers on the production line. “We are convinced that the new course will allow students to acquire an interdisciplinary education that will enable them to find very good jobs in the factories of the future,” says Dr Eng. Roman Trochimczuk from the Department of Automation and Robotics at the PB Faculty of Electrical Engineering.
