From 1 September 2023. The Bielsko-Biała Academy of Technology and Humanities (ATH) will change its name to the University of Bielsko-Biala. The act containing the change has been published in the Journal of Laws, reports the university.

“For over 50 years we have been operating as the only public academic HEI in Bielsko-Biała. We will start the new academic year 2023/2024 already as the University of Bielsko-Biala. This is the fruit of the concentration of our activities in the field of scientific development, teaching activities, as well as the construction of new and modernisation of the existing research, teaching and social infrastructure”, says Dr Jacek Nowakowski, professor of ATH.

In the academic year 2023/2024, the University of Bielsko-Biala will provide education in 24 majors, and scientific research will be carried out in 10 scientific disciplines within 4 fields of science.
