The Bielsko-Biała Academy of Technology and Humanities (ATH) will collaborate with the Medical University of Silesia (SUM) in the organisation and running of a medical faculty in Bielsko-Biała by the SUM. The prospects for cooperation between the universities are very promising, and it will undoubtedly bring tangible benefits to both universities and the region.
The cooperation is to include sharing laboratories, using specialised equipment and creating common spaces and facilities for students, conducive to the implementation of the education process at the highest possible level.
‘ATH will support activities leading to the establishment of medical studies in Bielsko-Biała, because it is a very important undertaking for our city and region. We are two state universities and we should support each other, of course with mutual respect for the interests of the partner’, assured the rector of the Bielsko-Biała Academy, Prof. Jacek Nowakowski.
