Biobank of the Medical University of Wroclaw, as the first in Poland, obtained the ISO 9001: 2015 certificate in the scope of “biobanking of biological material for scientific, research and development as well as didactic purposes”.

The certificate was awarded by the oldest and the most experienced BSI standardization organization in the world with the validity period until April 2, 2022. Biobank operates in the Laboratory for Biological Activity Screening and Biological Material Collection.

The implementation of the guidelines enables management of Biobank processes according to the highest standards, guaranteeing the high quality biological material and data related to it. This translates directly into the possibilities of obtaining new scientific and research projects and cooperation in creating innovative research and development solutions.
