The Institute of Animal Reproduction and Food Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAN) is launching the “Science SOS” campaign and encourages to book free visits of scientists for lessons, lectures or other online meetings.
Teachers, lecturers and organizers of industry meetings who need an expert can book appointments with scientists from the Institute of Animal Reproduction and Food Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences. Researchers have prepared online lectures on food, its nutritional value and impact on health. Their lectures will be delivered during lessons, classes with students or during special events on healthy eating.
The calendar of the Science SOS campaign includes meetings with microbiologists, food technologists, ichthyologists, biotechnologists and a specialist in molecular biology. Scientists will propose to talk about the myths around the safety and nutritional value of fish meat from fish farms. They will analyze the sugars that are naturally present in fruits and vegetables. They will check why food producers are returning to ancient varieties of cereals.
Science SOS is part of the international EIT Food project “#AnnualFoodAgenda”.
