After the winter break, the Botanical Garden of the Maria Curie Skłodowska University in Lublin was opened to the public. In the garden of 21 hectares, almost 7,000 plant species from around the world were collected.
Until the end of October, the Lublin University invites visitors for Sunday walks with a guide and for floristic workshops. Juniors are welcomed to the Summer Academy of the Junior Naturalists.
Everyone is invited to visit the Kościuszków Palace, situated in the Botanical Garden which has currently a representative character. The University uses the manor house as a place for special events, and from 2013 made it available to visitors – informs the Lublin university.
