Branch faculty of the State Higher Vocational School in Koszalin to be established in Kołobrzeg

A branch of the State Higher Vocational School (PWSZ) in Koszalin will be established in Kołobrzeg. In the presence of the Minister of Science, Dariusz Wieczorek, a letter of intent to this effect was signed by representatives of the local government and the university’s authorities. 

The new facility will meet the expectations of students from the Kołobrzeg region who would like to study Nursing and Medical Emergency Medicine. The head of the Ministry of Science also announced that, starting from October this year, the Koszalin-based PWSZ will change its name and become the State Academy of Applied Sciences.

The State Higher Vocational School in Koszalin is a public vocational higher education institution, providing full-time and part-time education. It began its activities in 2009. The university boasts modern teaching facilities. The training of nurses takes place in the Medical Simulation Centre equipped with high-tech simulators and trainers.
