The cornerstone for the Academic Sports Center has been laid at the Bydgoszcz University of Technology. The facility will be used by students, university employees and residents of Bydgoszcz. The construction will end in the second quarter of 2023.

The center will have a multi-functional hall with basketball, volleyball, handball, futsal and badminton courts and a stand for 430 people. The facility will include a gym, climbing wall, fitness, dance, aerobics, ballet and rehabilitation rooms. In the next stage of the investment, an external sports part will be built with a football pitch, basketball, beach volleyball, tennis courts and an athletics zone.

“Along with building a new brand, i.e. the Bydgoszcz University of Technology, we are creating a modern infrastructure on the Fordon campus. The construction of the didactic building is almost completed and will be used by our students and employees from October (…), says the rector of the University of Technology, Prof. Marek Adamski.
