The Bydgoszcz University of Technology will implement the project ‘Scientific excellence in agricultural sciences at the Bydgoszcz University of Technology’. The venture will be implemented by the department of animal breeding and biology, the funding (almost PLN 5 million) will be allocated from the ‘Regional Excellence Initiative’ programme.
The strategic objectives of the project are Strategic infrastructure – creating a scientific space for experiments in the area of poultry science; Development of human capital in the area of soft skills and specialised training; Supporting national and international cooperation and increasing the effectiveness of obtaining external funding for research; Dissemination of results, increasing research openness and accessibility; Improving educational programmes and making them more attractive; and Creating a space for cooperation with business and supporting promotional activities that build and create the brand of agricultural science at the University of Technology in Bydgoszcz.
