The National Science Center (NCN) has announced the Alphorn call for Polish-Swiss research projects organized in cooperation with the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF). 7 million PLN was allocated to research funding.
Alphorn is a two-way international call aimed at Polish research teams, which together with a Swiss partner team will apply for financing the project. The head of the Polish research team must hold at least a PhD title, and the funds raised as part of the competition may be used to pay for the research team, scholarships for regular and PhD students.
As part of the competition, the project participants can also finance the purchase or manufacture of scientific and research equipment and cover other costs necessary to carry out the research. The research project can last from 24 to 36 months.
