The Foundation for Polish Science (FNP) has announced the planned call for applications in the First Team action funded by the European Funds for the Modern Economy 2021 – 2027 programme. The call will run from 18 September to 18 October 2023.
First Team projects are dedicated to scientists at an early stage of their research career, up to 12 years after obtaining a PhD. The activity aims to support their projects focused on innovative scientific research with high implementation potential and achieving scientific independence by leading a research team, developing scientific international cooperation and establishing cooperation with business entities operating in Poland.
Applicants in the programme are research organisations that nominate a person to act as the main executor of the project – who is the author of the research concept presented in the application and has held a doctoral degree for no more than 12 years.
