The Foundation for Polish Science (FNP) has launched the call for applications in the First Team action funded by the European Funds for the Modern Economy 2021 – 2027 programme. The call will run until 18 October 2023.
First Team projects are dedicated to scientists at an early stage of their scientific career, up to 12 years after obtaining a PhD degree.
The measure aims to support their projects focused on innovative scientific research with high implementation potential and achieving scientific independence by leading a research team, developing scientific international cooperation and establishing cooperation with business entities operating in Poland.
Applicants in the programme are research organisations that indicate a person acting as the main executor of the project – who is the author/author of the research concept presented in the application, holding a doctoral degree for no longer than 12 years.
One project can receive funding of up to a maximum of PLN 4 million.
