From 4 September to 13 October 2023, the call for proposals under the “Polish Metrology II” programme will run. The aim of the initiative is to support scientific research and development work in areas related to metrology. 

The aim of the ‘Polish Metrology II’ programme is to support scientific research and development work carried out in cooperation with the Central Office of Measures (GUM) in areas related to metrology, reports the Ministry of Education and Science. 

The undertaking enables the realisation of projects serving, among other things, to increase the competitiveness of the Polish economy and to stimulate the development of metrology, particularly in the areas of health, environment, energy, advanced measurement techniques and digital technology development.

The prerequisite for participation in the programme is the submission of a research project carried out in cooperation with the GUM, the duration of which is a maximum of 24 months and the amount of funding from the funds for higher education and science is no more than PLN 1 million.
