The Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University (UKSW) in Warsaw, together with the UKSW Development Foundation is launching the Young Researcher University and starting classes for children.
The authors of the project are researchers from the Institute of Political Sciences and Administration of UKSW: Dr Katarzyna Walecka and Dr Kinga Wojtas.
The idea of the project is to enhance children’s curiosity about the world, strengthen children’s creativity and the will to discover and create – said Kinga Wojtas.
Classes will start in December and will take place on weekends in two modules: social and humanities and biological and engineering sciences. In the first part of the Young Researcher University, UKSW scientists are inviting children aged 7-9 and 10-11 to attend their classes.
UKSW is offering classes in the following modules: society and philosophy, politics and people, and people and the environment. In the future, it will expand its offer for all disciplines of the UKSW’s scientific activity.
