Faculty of Pedagogical Sciences of the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw, University of Criminology and Penitentiary Studies in Warsaw, Department of Resocialization Psychopedagogy, the Maria Grzegorzewska Academy of Special Education in Warsaw and the Penitentiary Association “Patronat” are organizing on February 22 an international scientific conference “Social activities for prisoners and their families”.

The issue of supporting people leaving prisons and their families is a constant subject of interest of researchers involved in social rehabilitation and many social services involved in helping these people.

The event is aimed at criminologists, social rehabilitation educators, psychologists, sociologists, probation officers, social workers, and representatives of other disciplines.

The intention of the Conference is to develop ​​joint theoretical and empirical activities that will be applied in practice.
