The CASSINI Hackathon, which will take place from 3-5 November 2023 at the Krakow Technology Park, offers 3 days of brainstorming and a chance to create a unique business idea using satellite and navigation data.
The sixth CASSINI Hackathon will take place simultaneously in 11 European countries. It will be a chance for participants to work together and create innovative solutions using satellite data.
A grand prize of PLN 10,000 will be awarded to the best team in Poland. The winning teams from each country will also compete for a six-month mentoring programme, which includes 100 hours of individual consultations with experts.
The aim of this year’s event is to develop smart solutions to support the idea of international cooperation for economic development and humanitarian aid based on the use of satellite data. Each participant will receive access to European satellite data and support in understanding how this data and navigation data can be applied.
