Ten students from Belarus, who admitted to the Catholic University of Lublin (KUL) this year have been exempt from the tuition fee. Additionally, they were provided with scholarships and accommodation.
The decision of the KUL authorities is related to the current political situation in their country. In total, 34 Belarusians will study in the first year of BA and MA studies. Apart from the aforementioned ten students, the rest of them have Pole’s Cards entitling them to free education.
The students without Polish origin have already completed all the formalities and will start their education on October 1 – said Prof. Krzysztof Narecki, Vice-Rector of the Catholic University of Lublin for students and doctoral students.
About one hundred Belarusians are currently studying at the Catholic University of Lublin. Their preferences in studies include psychology, IT and cognitive science.
