The Asian Affairs Center of the University of Lodz (OSA UŁ) became a full member of the international EastAsiaNet consortium (EAN). In practice, this means that researchers of the Łódź university will have much greater opportunities for research collaboration and academic exchange.

University researchers will gain the opportunity to participate in EastAsiaNet grants, publications and send two researchers to its workshops at no charge.
Students of Asiatic Studies, studying both in Polish and English will have an opportunity to study at the best European universities in the Asian studies. In addition, joining the EAN guarantees participation in the annual workshop organized by Marco Polo Center for Global Europe-Asia Connections in Venice.
