The field of chemical technology at the Faculty of Chemistry of the Lodz University of Technology (PŁ) received the European certificate EUR-ACE Label (European Accredited Engineering Bachelor Degree).

The course has been accredited by the Accreditation Committee of Technical Universities (KAUT). After analyzing the Report of the Evaluation Team, the experts granted accreditation for 5 years, i.e. for the maximum period provided for by the regulations. Thus, the Faculty of Chemistry confirmed that it will educate chemical technology engineers at the highest level.

The business council from the university and experienced industry specialists involved in the teaching process are crucial factors of improving the quality of education. During the process leading to the accreditation, the staff noted also growing involvement of faculty students in research work often ending in their scientific publications, as well as the active activity of students within scientific clubs – said Prof. Małgorzata Iwona Szynkowska, dean of the Faculty of Chemistry PŁ.
