A new project entitled ‘Chemistry Vertigo’ will soon be launched at the Faculty of Chemistry of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. Primary and secondary school students will have the opportunity to take part in activities conducted in a real laboratory.
The ‘Chemistry Vertigo’ project aims to popularise chemistry among primary and secondary school students and to change attitudes towards science so that students treat it as a personal challenge.
In a professionally equipped laboratory, pupils, under the guidance of competent tutors, will carry out interesting chemical experiments on a variety of topics on their own, using both specialised equipment and materials available at home.
“We want to show that science = chemistry is everywhere, and that understanding its laws can be easy and enjoyable if done through scientific inquiry”, write the project’s authors.
