The Chinese concern TCL will open its largest foreign research center in Warsaw with aim to develop artificial intelligence research in which the Chinese want to cooperate with scientists from the University of Warsaw.

TCL is the third largest producer of televisions in the world. Over 100 scientists will carry out projects in Warsaw related to learning and understanding body language or image analysis.

– It is about new functionalities that facilitate human interaction with devices that can be “installed” in home appliances – explained Bartosz Biskupski, head of TCL Research Europe. According to him, projects created in the laboratory will make a technological revolution.
– We have focused on Poland because we need people with mathematical and algorithmic skills to work, and Polish scientists present the highest level – adds Bartosz Biskupski.
