Almost 250 people from 35 countries will take part in the XXIX-year summer school of Polish language, literature and culture organized by the School of Polish Language and Culture at the University of Silesia. The summer course in Cieszyn will last from 1 to 29 August.
This year’s participants include scholars of the National Agency for Academic Exchange, the Senate of the Republic of Poland and students of the partner universities of the University of Silesia – from China, Singapore, Indonesia, Japan, Germany, France and Macedonia. Classes in the School have been held continuously for almost thirty years, and each year with a growing number of participants.
Students will learn to speak, listen, write and understand in Polish. The lecturers will be teachers of various faculties of the Silesian university and other universities. The activities will include an evening cultural program, during which the participants will get to know the traditions, customs and customs cultivated in our country in an active way.
