Students of the Faculty of Civil Engineering at the Silesian University of Technology – Karolina Balcer and Magdalena Skrocka have received a distinction in the first nationwide Competition for Young Engineers of the Builder magazine.
Participants of the competition had to perform one of the four tasks proposed by the organizers. Two task were projects and two were project implementation. Students of the Silesian University of Technology chose the implementation task. The topic of their work was “Technical and economic comparative analysis of the execution of a reinforced concrete ceiling”.
The competition for Young Engineers is implemented as part of the “Builder For The Young Engineers” project that supports students and young civil engineers in their professional development. The competition reveals the authors of the best works – characterized by ingenuity, openness, high quality of projects, correctness of applied material and technological solutions.
