Collegium Civitas in Warsaw became a member of the International Association of Universities – IAU, founded in 1950 under the auspices of UNESCO.
The IAU brings together members from over 130 countries in order not only to think together and develop recommendations for decision-makers but also to take specific actions regarding common priorities.
It is one of the oldest and most prestigious global university associations, established 71 years ago under the auspices of UNESCO. The values he represents are fully in line with the mission of Collegium Civitas, – says Dr Katarzyna Maniszewska, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation at Collegium Civitas,
The IAU acts as the global voice of higher education at UNESCO and provides a forum for institutional and association leaders. It is an official partner of UNESCO and has been granted special consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC). The organization also cooperates with the Council of Europe.
