The Information Analysis Center and the Center for Research on Terrorism at Collegium Civitas in Warsaw are organizing a conference on April 25, 2019: “E-Threats to elections 2019: Information as a weapon, manipulation, botocracy”.
The conference will start with three introductions. Michał Boni, Member of the European Parliament, will try to answer the question: Can European law fight against misinformation? Martyna Bildziukiewicz from EEAS East StratCom Task Force will deal with the issue of disinformation in the European elections, and Dr Krzysztof Liedel, head of the Collegium Civitas Information Analysis Center, will hold the lecture “Information fight as an element of the hybrid conflict”.
Next, the organizers are planning two panel discussions on the disinformation threats for democracy that appear in electoral processes.
