Agnieszka Muzińska, MA, geomorphologist, PhD student of Interdisciplinary PhD Studies in the field of mathematical and natural sciences at the University of Warsaw, won the first prize in the 14th competition “Complicated and simple. Young scholars about their research “. The competition supported by the Minister of Science and Higher Education is organized by the “Forum Akademickie” magazine.

The competition participants were research workers of universities and research institutes, and PhD students under 35 years of age.
During the awards gala, Deputy Prime Minister Jarosław Gowin pointed out that the pursuit of scientific excellence is one of the missions of the academic community.

– Social responsibility of science and its popularization are forms of debt repayment. I believe that through the awarded works some people will be inspired to follow a scientific career – said Minister Gowin.
