15 October 2023 is the deadline for accepting applications for the 35th competition of the Minister of Foreign Affairs (MFA) for the best master’s thesis in Polish foreign policy. A prize of approximately PLN 13,000 and an internship at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or at a foreign post await the winner of the first prize.
Only Master’s theses submitted in the year of their presentation for the award can be entered in the competition open to both graduates of domestic and foreign universities. The theses are submitted to the Competition by the authorities of the university where the thesis was defended.
The competition is open to submissions on the following topics: Polish foreign policy priorities and their implementation in selected fields or geographical regions; Poland’s policy within the framework of the European Union’s external policy; Poland’s policy in the field of disarmament and international security; Poland’s policy towards the Polish community abroad; Poland’s promotion abroad, including Polish culture and science; human rights in relation to Polish foreign policy; international law issues in relation to Polish foreign policy.
