The Field Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Lublin in cooperation with Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin and the Catholic University of Lublin are announcing a competition for the best bachelor’s/engineering, master’s and doctoral thesis in forced displacement and refugees.

Through this initiative, the organisers want to draw attention to issues related to the phenomenon of forced displacement and refugeeism and to raise public awareness of the problems of those affected by this phenomenon. 

The competition can be applied for via a website application form. The condition for application is that a thesis on the phenomenon of forced displacement and refugees has been written and successfully defended at any university in the Lubelskie Voivodeship between 1 January 2021 and 30 September 2023.

Applications will be accepted until 19 November, while the competition will be concluded on 15 December 2023.
