Until 31 July 2023, participants can apply to take part in the Competition of the President of the Central Statistical Office for the best master’s and doctoral thesis in statistics in 2022. Its aim is to identify the best master’s thesis and the best doctoral thesis in statistics and to popularise knowledge about statistics and its information resources.
Participants in the Competition may include: graduates of master’s degree studies or of unitary master’s studies – in the part concerning the best master’s thesis in statistics; graduates of doctoral studies – in the part concerning the best doctoral thesis.
Master’s theses and doctoral theses in statistics, presented at public and non-public higher education institutions in 2022, which have been positively evaluated, may be submitted to the Competition, independently by their authors.
Each Competition Participant may submit only one Master’s thesis or only one PhD thesis, respectively.
