Until February 22, students can apply to the competition for the most interesting PhD dissertations in the field of humanities, dedicated to modern times. Prof. Alina “Inka” Brodzka-Wald competition is organizing the Academy for the Development of Philanthropy in Poland.
Alina Brodzka-Wald was one of the most recognizable Polish historians and theoreticians of literature. To commemorate her life and merits, the Fund named after her was created. Its objective is development of science, education, culture, health care and social assistance. For the past six years it has been organizing a competition for the most interesting PhD dissertations defended in the year preceding the recruitment.
The jury of the competition consists of well-known representatives of the humanist community: Prof. Maryla Hopfinger-Amsterdamska; Prof. Grażyna Borkowska; Prof. Jan Kordys; Prof. Marek Zaleski and Dr Tomasz Żukowski from the Institute of Literary Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
