The Institute “Children’s Memorial- Health Center” together with medical universities in Katowice and Poznań and the Provincial Specialist Hospital in Wroclaw invite participants to join the “Program of comprehensive training in interventional cardiology in children – PO WER-KID”.
The aim of the project, financed by the European Union, is to increase the number of physicians trained in pediatric interventional cardiology at the basic and advanced level through the development of their professional competences and qualifications.
The participants will take courses in the morphology of the cardiovascular system and congenital heart defects, the basis of pediatric interventional cardiology and the psychological aspects of pediatric interventional cardiology. The main part of the training will be practical classes in the laboratories of interventional cardiology conducted with the use of modern medical simulation techniques.
