The Wrocław University of Technology registered almost 20,000 candidates for studies. They could choose from 61 different faculties in sixteen departments. More than 6.3 thousand pupils applied within the first application call – said Andrzej Charytoniuk from the university’s information and promotion department.

The Computer Science in English at the Faculty of Information Technology and Management turned out to be most popular study with over 7 volunteers for one place. 6 candidates applied for one place in the IT sciences at the electronics department.

Computer science in the department of basic technical problems (6 people for one place) and cyber security at the Faculty of Electronics (5.82) was also of considerable interest. Last year, candidates for studies preferred information technology, geodesy, cartography and cybersecurity. Currently, there are over 28 thousand students at the University of Technology.
