The Department of Civil Law and Private International Law of the University of Silesia is organizing a scientific conference “Application of the Succession Regulation in the EU Member States”.
The agenda of the event includes a session devoted to the first experiences of European Union member states regarding the application of the inheritance ordinance. The meeting will be attended by: Prof. Maksymilian Pazdan (former dean of the Faculty of Law and Administration, rector of the University of Silesia in the years 1990-1996, doctor honoris causa of the University of Silesia), Prof. Andrea Bonomi (University of Lausanne) and Prof. Christian Kohler (University of Saarbrücken).
On September 12, the Faculty of Law and Administration in Katowice is organizing also two discussion panels: “The delimitation of the inheritance bills set by the decree and other statutes” and “Jurisdiction and free movement of judgments and other instruments covered by the inheritance regulation”.
