The College of Individual Inter-university Studies at the University of Silesia invites participants to a conference with Dr Marcin Popkiewicz “Climate facts and myths”. The event is part of the “ISM gives voice” initiative – a series of meetings with extraordinary personalities of Polish culture, literature, fine arts, journalism and NGOs.

On February 26 at the Center for Scientific Information and the Academic Library Dr Popkiewicz will discuss the issues of climate change, including global warming, around which many myths will grow. The lecture will introduce the climate control processes, its changes in the past of the Earth and those occurring under the influence of human activity.
